What you'll do...
Role summary:
The Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, managing maintenance schedules, overseeing less-experienced associates, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers. The position requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards while delivering quality workmanship. The Senior Technician also provides hands-on training, manages parts inventory, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maintain operational excellence across company facilities.
What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and document facility conditions, recommending repairs or replacements to prevent future issues.
  • Lead and mentor less-experienced associates, providing hands-on training and overseeing work quality and safety.
  • Manage work orders, parts inventory, and contractor relationships while ensuring adherence to company standards and budget guidelines.
  • Operate heavy machinery and company vehicles safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring safety and functionality.
  • Proficiency in multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment operation.
  • Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, and to utilize hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong leadership skills to oversee work, provide on-the-job training, and serve as a job foreman.
  • Knowledge of compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
  • Experience managing maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and contractor coordination.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to support team development and continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.








Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
