As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for data engineering and AI/ML projects supporting a Navy IT command. This includes drafting clear and concise user guides, system documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures. You will work closely with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and project managers to translate complex technical concepts into understandable content that facilitates project execution and end-user adoption.
Required Experience:- 10+ years of relevant experience; or bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in technical writing
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Schedule:
- Charleston, SC: Hybrid 1-2 days a week onsite
- Will consider remote candidates outside of Charleston, SC
Salary: 115k+ to align with experience and education
