Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Help build the teams behind the technologies that enable the next generation of semiconductors powering AI, high-performance computing, advanced communications, automotive innovation, and the devices people rely on every day.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at KLA, you will serve as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, partnering closely with hiring teams to attract and hire world-class talent across Optical, Opto-Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Product Development disciplines.

This is an opportunity to influence business-critical hiring decisions, shape workforce strategy, and help build the engineering teams advancing KLA’s innovation, growth, and technology leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Partner with engineering leaders to align on workforce plans and hiring strategies.

  • Provide market intelligence, talent availability insights, and competitive hiring trends.

  • Influence hiring decisions through data-driven recruiting strategies and talent market expertise.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Lead recruiting efforts from requisition intake through offer acceptance.

  • Develop sourcing strategies for highly specialized engineering talent.

  • Conduct candidate assessment and qualification screenings.

  • Facilitate interview processes and stakeholder alignment.

  • Partner with HR teams on offer strategy and negotiations.

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Conduct talent mapping and competitor intelligence across targeted semiconductor and technology organizations.

  • Utilize modern sourcing technology, AI-enabled recruiting tools, and talent intelligence platforms to engage passive candidates.

Candidate and Hiring Manager Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers.

  • Build trusted partnerships with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Drive an efficient and high-quality recruiting process.

Technical Recruiting Focus Areas

Candidates should have experience recruiting talent within one or more of the following areas:

  • Optical and Photonics Engineering

  • Opto-Mechanical and Precision Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Systems Engineering

  • Product Development Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within semiconductor, semiconductor capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, robotics, scientific instrumentation, aerospace, medical device, or other complex engineering environments.

  • Experience hiring Optical, Opto-Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Product Development Engineers.

  • Proven experience building recruiting plans, sourcing, and engaging passive candidates.

  • Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with talent mapping, market intelligence, and workforce planning.

  • Advanced sourcing expertise utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled recruiting tools.

  • Knowledge of engineering talent markets across organizations in the Semiconductor manufacturing technology space.

Success Measures

The successful candidate will:

  • Build sustainable pipelines for critical engineering talent enabling hiring within established talent metrics.

  • Improve hiring velocity for difficult-to-fill technical positions.

  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leadership.

  • Deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences that result in quality hires, stakeholder satisfaction, and successful business outcomes.

  • Influence talent decisions through market intelligence and competitive insights.

  • Drive hiring excellence through AI-enabled talent strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years or equivalent work experience.

Base Pay Range: $101,500.00 - $172,600.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
