Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with AI/Cloud security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR), data protection, and security architecture in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI release cycles.
  • Experience establishing and tracking KPIs for security posture, audit readiness, compliance coverage, and risk mitigation effectiveness.
  • Experience with AI principles and translating security policy, legal, and regulatory requirements into technical strategies and engineering solutions.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing enterprise customer security and compliance expectations and establishing best practices for secure AI deployment in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with AI security posture management, data privacy controls, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and AI regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional engineering, policy, and research teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing security and compliance work streams, mitigating emerging AI risks, and driving alignment across rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Security and Compliance, you will guide the delivery of AI security, compliance, data privacy, and regulatory initiatives for Generative AI products. You will partner with product managers, engineers, legal/compliance teams, and leadership to define security roadmaps, prioritize compliance features, implement regulatory controls, and drive complex AI security projects to successful release.

In this role, you will navigate a changing environment where your technical depth, security expertise, and program management directly influence Google's AI security and compliance strategy.   • Manage end-to-end life cycles of AI security and compliance initiatives, from requirement gathering, threat modeling to risk assessment, audit readiness, and security control.
  • Partner with engineering, compliance, legal, and product teams to define workstreams, risk mitigation plans, and compliance certification milestones. Drive alignment on industry standards across all stakeholders.
  • Provide clear project status updates to leadership and partners. Advocate for security practices, compliance evaluation methodologies, and KPIs for risk mitigation and regulatory readiness.
