Full Job Description
Purpose of Role

The purpose of this role is to accelerate product learning and evolution across VOR, DIoT, and LV solutions. This role combines product management, software-development experience, technical analysis, GenAI, and rapid prototyping to understand how products perform in real customer workflows, identify deficiencies and new value opportunities, and translate evidence into clear product direction. The role strengthens the portfolio by ensuring major initiatives are instrumented, measurable, testable, and continuously informed by customer feedback and product usage.

Areas of Accountabilities

Product Learning & Intelligence

- Use customer feedback, telemetry, usage data, field observations, and market research to identify unmet needs, adoption barriers, workflow friction, recurring deficiencies, and emerging opportunities; define learning objectives, hypotheses, success metrics, and validation plans for major initiatives.

- Establish structured learning loops across pilots, launches, and mature products; distinguish isolated issues from scalable product needs and convert findings into prioritized recommendations for discovery and roadmap consideration.

Instrumentation & Evidence-Based Decisions

- Define the instrumentation and product-health signals needed to measure adoption, workflow completion, reliability, customer value, and technical outcomes; ensure major development efforts have measurable outcomes and clear learning objectives.

- Analyze product behavior across customers, sites, workflows, devices, and configurations; synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence into clear recommendations for roadmap, scope, sequencing, and product improvement decisions.

Product Engineering & GenAI-First Execution

- Use GenAI and approved development tools to create prototypes, wireframes, lightweight dashboards, analytical views, simulations, and internal tools that clarify product concepts, test assumptions, and accelerate learning before broader engineering investment.

- Work directly with APIs, data, and technical workflows to investigate opportunities, demonstrate potential solutions, and hand off validated concepts with sufficient evidence and definition for Product Delivery and Engineering.

Cross-Functional Product Evolution

- Partner with Product Delivery, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Category Management, and customers to convert validated learning into delivery-ready requirements, measurable outcomes, and the next increment of customer and business value.

- Communicate findings in a concise, decision-oriented manner; influence roadmap choices, investment decisions, instrumentation priorities, and product strategy across the portfolio.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development, solutions engineering, technical product management, product ownership, data/analytics, or similar experience delivering and improving software or hardware-enabled solutions; experience transitioning from development into a product-oriented role is highly valued.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with hands-on experience using telemetry, APIs, SQL, logs, dashboards, experiments, or other evidence-based methods to understand product behavior, technical failure modes, and customer outcomes.
• Ability to create prototypes or lightweight working artifacts and use GenAI to accelerate research, coding, analysis, product discovery, hypothesis testing, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong product judgment, customer curiosity, and communication skills, with the ability to move between technical detail and business impact and translate findings into clear roadmap and investment recommendations; experience with CV/ML, IoT, or RFID environments preferred.
