Job Description

The Senior Technical Integration Specialist plays a pivotal part in onboarding new practices' clinical data, new payers' claims data, and managing technical implementation projects with healthcare vendors. The Sr. Technical Integration Specialist is responsible for supporting data integration efforts, managing system deployments, and ensuring successful go-live of AI and data-driven solutions in a complex healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Acting as the technical point of contact for both external and internal stakeholders during the onboarding and implementation process.
  • Managing, coordinating, and executing data integration and tech integration projects, including EMR integrations, third-party vendor integrations, data retrievals, API connections, and SFTP data feeds with vendors.
  • Facilitating conversations between internal and external tech and business stakeholders, designing, documenting and presenting data flow diagrams, and project managing integrations to ensure successful and smooth delivery of the end results.
  • Translating clinical and operational requirements into technical configurations and workflows.
  • Creating and maintaining integration documentation including technical specifications, workflow and processes diagrams, implementation guides, and SOPs.
  • Performing data QA and validation activities, including executing scripts and manual checks for data format, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, coordinating with engineering, vendor, or client teams as needed.
  • Managing go-live planning, execution, maintenance and provide post-implementation support.


Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics in the healthcare industry.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity with clinical vocabularies and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, RXNORM).
  • Extensive experience working with data and technical integration projects that includes ETL pipeline, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API connections
  • Proficiency with cross-team project tracking/documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with data QA and validation processes.
  • Familiarity in SQL, Python, and Bash for data querying and script execution
  • Proven experience in leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including client or vendor onboarding.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions), GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows (e.g., care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, value-based care).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for interfacing with clinical and technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

The base pay range for this role is between $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year based upon experience and qualifications.

All full-time employees of Guidehealth who work 30 hours per week or more are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. Temporary employees and contractors are not eligible for benefits.

COMPENSATION:

The listed compensation range listed is paid bi-weekly per our standard payroll practices. Final base pay decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.

REMOTE WORK TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Guidehealth is a fully remote company. We provide new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee. Employees provide their own internet connection, capable of conducting video calls on camera and connecting to various internal and external systems. The required internet speed is a minimum of 100 mbps download, 10 mbps upload. Please run a speed test here to confirm your internet connection meets these requirements.
