To achieve this, you will be given the autonomy and tools to execute, build, and develop Anduril's world-class Quality team. We are looking for someone who can handle every aspect of recruiting and talent mapping, excited to be part of a lean and nimble team on one mission together, where no task is too big or too small.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management
  • Conduct a high volume of interviews, demonstrating ability to anticipate and influence hiring manager preferences through successful interview-to-offer conversion ratios
  • Engage and source passive candidates - quality inspectors, metrology technicians, and quality engineers - using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and referrals
  • Build talent maps across the Quality Control, inspection, and metrology communities to generate market insights that inform your engagement strategy
  • Drive diverse talent into the organization ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally at the highest caliber
  • Leverage internal resources, teammates, and cross-functional partners to build strategy around selling our value proposition and impacting hiring practices

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical talent acquisition experience evaluating and hiring top-tier engineering and skilled-technical talent, including demonstrated experience recruiting Quality Control and Inspection professionals (e.g., incoming/in-process/final inspection, CMM/metrology, GD&T, MRB, FAI/AS9102, NCR/CAPA, SPC)
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior-level leaders and stakeholders, reporting on progress, creating and advising on talent strategies
  • Experience recruiting in a fast-paced in-house environment (agency background a plus), hiring Quality Control, Inspection, Quality Engineering, or adjacent disciplines (Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, or Mission Assurance)
  • Ability to be onsite/hybrid at Costa Mesa, CA

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building a talent acquisition function from the ground up for a greenfield location
  • Experience hiring into aerospace, defense, or other regulated/safety-critical industries, with working knowledge of ITAR policies around hiring practices
  • Familiarity with the credentialing landscape for quality and inspection professionals (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQI, CQA, CQT; NDT Level II/III per NAS-410/SNT-TC-1A) and the quality standards that govern the work (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, MIL-STD inspection requirements)
  • Familiarity with the trade schools, community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and employers that produce skilled inspection and metrology talent
  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes and positive candidate experiences
  • Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
  • Experience managing various high-volume pipelines of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process
