Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a
Senior Technical Coordinator (Utility Engineering & Coordination) to join our growing team in
Denver, CO. In this role, you will provide professional-level technical coordination and support for complex transportation and infrastructure projects involving utility engineering, utility relocations, and stakeholder engagement. Working with multidisciplinary teams, utility owners, clients, and public agencies, you will help identify and resolve utility conflicts, sup.port project delivery, and coordinate technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
Your Role- Coordinate utility engineering and utility coordination activities for transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and evaluate Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) activities
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve utility conflicts involving water, wastewater, stormwater, gas, electric, and telecommunications systems.
- Prepare and review utility exhibits, conflict matrices, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with utility owners, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to advance project objectives.
- Lead or support utility coordination meetings, track action items, and maintain project records and submittals.
- Assist with utility relocation planning, permitting, agreements, cost estimates, and technical studies.
- Support construction-phase activities, including RFIs, field coordination, and utility conflict resolution.
- Review plans, calculations, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Coordinate the work of junior staff, technicians, CAD personnel, and consultants.
- Participate in proposal development, presentations, and business development activities as needed.
About You- Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in utility engineering, utility coordination, transportation infrastructure, or related technical professional activities.
- Strong understanding of utility systems, infrastructure project delivery, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience interpreting multidisciplinary engineering plans and specifications.
- Familiarity with (SUE), federal and local utility accommodation policies, permitting processes, right-of-way considerations, and construction practices.
- Proficiency with engineering and project software; experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Additional information Expected compensation range is between $95,000 - $130,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
