Senior Technical Accountant to own the positions behind Webflow9s most complex accounting - stock-based compensation, capitalized commissions, internally developed software, intangibles, and leases - and translate dense guidance into clear, defensible conclusions the business can act on. Partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, People, and our external auditors, you9ll deliver audit-ready financial statements and build the scalable close and reporting processes that carry Webflow toward strategic readiness.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We9ve structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate9s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
- United States (all figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
- Zone A: $129,500 - $155,000
- Zone B: $121,500 - $146,000
- Zone C: $113,000 - $136,000
This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow9s company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

As a
Senior Technical Accountant, you9ll ...
- Own technical accounting areas such as internally developed software, stock based compensation, equity modifications, intangibles and leases, and ensure their compliance with US GAAP
- Own month-end close for technical accounting areas, including the preparation of supporting calculations, booking journal entries, performing flux analyses, and reconciling accounts, including driving process improvements to help accelerate the close cycle
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including preparation and tie-out of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, statement of stockholders9 equity, footnotes, supporting documentation, and the disclosure checklist.
- Research, interpret, and document accounting positions for complex transactions and new accounting standards, and partner with internal management and auditors for sign-off.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and cross functional business partners, to perform comprehensive walkthroughs, ensure complete and accurate financials, and timely and compliant reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies and support their implementation.
- Support in the development and testing of internal controls.
About you:Requirements:
- 5+ years of public accounting experience (big four preferred), with a thorough understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting
- Active CPA license and fluency in US GAAP
