  • Participate in Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) activities and technical data reviews.
  • Review contractor analyses regarding Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
  • Support weapon system development and production across all DoD Product Support Elements.

Job Description

HII - Mission Technologies is looking for a Senior Technical Data Maintenance Technician with experience in life-cycle logistics, technical data management, and aircraft maintenance. This role will ensure technical data accuracy, support sustainment planning, and contribute to the development, production, and fielding of advanced USAF systems.to support a position located at Melbourne, Florida. TS/SCI clearance is required

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Apply life-cycle logistics expertise to organize and manage resources, personnel, and processes supporting USAF and AFLCMC/WB logistics objectives in accordance with DoD 5000.02 and USAF logistics/technical data policy.
  • Provide logistics-relevant experience across maintenance, training, logistics systems, and technical data management; lead support personnel in executing assigned tasks.
  • Evaluate logistics system requirements, designs, and products to ensure compliance with integrated PSEs.
  • Support development, review, and coordination of logistics documentation such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Technical Orders (TOs), training materials, and technical data products.
  • Participate in Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) activities, TO Data Conferences, technical data reviews, and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks.
  • Review and coordinate contractor Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analyses and recommendations.
  • Support all aspects of weapon system development, production, and fielding across the DoD Product Support Elements (PSEs), including:
    • Life Cycle Sustainment Management: Product Support Management, Supply Support, Packaging/Handling/Storage/Transportation (PHS&T), and Maintenance Planning & Management.
    • Technical Management: Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Technical Data, and Computer Resources.
    • Infrastructure Management: Facilities & Infrastructure, Manpower & Personnel, and Training & Training Support.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors; OR 7 years relevant experience with Masters; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
  • Expertise in maintaining aircraft fuel and propulsion systems.
  • Experience maintaining armament systems and loading both conventional munitions and nuclear weapons.
  • Experience developing, using, and maintaining USAF Technical Orders (TOs).
  • Working knowledge of USAF TO 00-5-3, AIA/ASD S1000D specification, MIL-STD-3048, and associated Business Rules.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.


Preferred Requirements

  • 10 years of logistics-relevant DoD experience
  • 10 years of verifiable experience maintaining military aircraft in a flight-line environment.
