Full Job Description
The Senior Team Lead, GTM Instructional Design will help manage the day-to-day execution of customer-facing learning content across ZoomInfo University and related customer enablement programs.

This role will oversee content operations for the team members responsible for building and maintaining eLearning, video, and customer education assets. The role is focused on project managing content builds, reviewing and improving content quality, supporting ticket intake and assignment, coordinating with cross-functional SMEs, using AI tools to improve content workflows, and reporting on key Customer Enablement metrics.

This is a player-coach role: the Senior Team Lead will guide execution across the team while also contributing directly to content creation, editing, or maintenance when priority work requires hands-on support.

This role reports to the Director of Customer Education & Enablement.

What You Will Do:

Content Operations & Project Management
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of course, video, and customer enablement content builds across the instructional designers and Customer Enablement Managers.
  • Help manage the Customer Enablement Jira board, including ticket intake, triage, assignment, prioritization, sequencing, status updates, and follow-through.
  • Translate approved content requests into clear build requirements, including audience, objective, source material, SME input needed, format, timing, and review expectations.
  • Coordinate content production workflows across eLearning, video, product release education, customer onboarding, adoption, and ongoing content maintenance work.
  • Identify blockers, unclear requirements, duplicate work, capacity constraints, and prioritization conflicts, and escalate as needed.

Content Quality, Cohesion & Brand Alignment
  • Review outlines, scripts, courses, videos, and other customer-facing learning assets before build and prior to publishing.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve content quality, clarity, accuracy, consistency, structure, tone, and alignment to the intended audience.
  • Contribute directly to content creation, editing, and maintenance when needed to support priority builds, urgent updates, or team capacity.
  • Help ensure customer-facing education assets are cohesive across ZoomInfo University, video content, and related customer enablement programs.
  • Partner with content creators to ensure learning assets are aligned to customer workflows, product use cases, and business priorities.
  • Help maintain content standards, templates, review processes, and quality expectations across the Customer Enablement team.

AI-Enabled Content Workflows
  • Use ZoomInfo's AI tools and internal AI systems to improve content creation, review, maintenance, and reporting workflows.
  • Partner with the AI/content operations lead to identify repeatable content processes that can be improved through AI, automation, templates, or reusable workflows.
  • Help the team adopt AI-supported workflows for tasks such as outlining, summarization, content review, metadata, content updates, and source material synthesis.
  • Support quality control for AI-assisted content to ensure outputs are accurate, clear, on-brand, and customer-ready.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other SMEs to gather the product context and validation needed for customer-facing education.
  • Coordinate SME involvement for recordings, reviews, content QA, source material validation, and release-related education work.
  • Help ensure content strategy and production priorities are aligned to larger business needs, product priorities, customer pain points, and field feedback.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination between Customer Enablement content creators and internal stakeholders requesting or reviewing customer education assets.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Own monthly reporting for key Customer Enablement metrics, including content production status, learner engagement, content usage, completion trends, feedback, and identified content gaps.
  • Pull and analyze data from relevant systems to monitor team performance, content health, and customer learning activity.
  • Present updates in team and leadership meetings, including progress against goals, key risks, areas of opportunity, and recommended actions.
  • Use data, customer feedback, stakeholder input, and content performance signals to recommend updates, improvements, retirements, or new content priorities.

Team Leadership
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and execution support for instructional designers and Customer Enablement Managers responsible for customer learning content.
  • Help establish clear expectations for content quality, project ownership, communication, review timelines, and follow-through.
  • Support team members by removing blockers, clarifying priorities, and helping them deliver high-quality work on time.
  • People management experience is strongly preferred, as this role may include direct people leadership responsibilities depending on final team structure and internal leveling.

What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Enablement, Customer Education, Learning & Development, Content Operations, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or a related SaaS function.
  • Experience managing or coordinating content projects across multiple stakeholders, formats, and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of digital learning content, including eLearning, video, customer training, onboarding, or product education.
  • Experience reviewing content for quality, clarity, accuracy, consistency, and audience fit.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, or other internal SMEs.
  • Strong project management skills, including intake, prioritization, ticket management, status reporting, and follow-through.
  • Experience using data and feedback to identify content gaps, measure impact, and recommend improvements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading, managing, mentoring, or coaching team members.
  • Experience with Jira or similar intake/project management tools.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve content creation, content maintenance, reporting, or team workflows.
