Job Title: Tax Senior
Reports to: Tax Partner and Tax Manager
Job Summary: The Tax Senior participates in and leads staff on tax engagements. The Tax Senior will prepare US corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
Salary Range & Benefits: Commensurate with experience, standard firm benefits
Hours Required: 40 hrs.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Major Responsibilities & Duties:- Prepare federal and state corporation, partnership and individual tax returns.
- Prepare international informational tax returns.
- Assist with tax provision preparation.
- Assist with tax planning and tax consulting projects.
- Assist with tax research memo for clients with analysis and application of IRC sections and regulations.
- Represent client in front of the IRS, including assisting in IRS and state tax audits.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
- Solid accounting skills.
- Good understanding of federal & state income taxes.
Education and Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in any field AND a Master's degree in accounting.
- Advanced degree is preferred.
- Actively working toward CPA certification, if not already obtained.
