Job Description

The Opportunity

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in a lean, collaborative five-person department where your contributions directly impact the organization's tax strategy and financial efficiency. We're in the midst of significant modernization efforts, including automation initiatives that will transform how we approach tax compliance and planning. With direct access to leadership and high visibility across the organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape processes, drive improvements, and potentially grow into a management role. If you're looking for variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative environment, this is your opportunity.

*Please note, an active CPA License is required in this role*

  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and interpret evolving tax laws and regulations

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in tax planning and compliance

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with the VP of Global Tax and cross-functional teams including accounting, legal, and senior management

  • Collaborate with international team members based in Ireland, Portugal, and India

  • Interface with external auditors and tax authorities, providing documentation and addressing inquiries

  • Gather financial information from various departments to support tax filings and analysis

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain organized, comprehensive records of all tax-related documentation

  • Create and maintain process memos for all tax functions
