Title: Senior Tax Manager
Location: Remote in Texas! (We have an office in Amarillo)

We are a public accounting firm in Texas which provides tax, accounting, and consulting services to businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates. Our business clients typically have complex tax issues associated with the industries of construction, energy, law, healthcare and agriculture! We are ingrained within Texas and work with Mid sized clients that are the heart and soul of this Texas Economy.

We are specifically looking for candidates that have ties to Texas and the surrounding areas and understand the culture of Texan businesses. Looking for Candidates in TX.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Senior Tax Manager, you'll lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax filings, ensuring full compliance with evolving tax regulations. You'll develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position, manage audits, and collaborate with external advisors. You'll also monitor legislative changes, support M&A and other strategic projects, and mentor junior team members to foster growth and excellence within the tax function.

What You Need for this Position

- Must have: 10+ years of experience in Public Environment
- Active CPA

- Experience working complex business returns
- Experience interfacing with clients and supervising staff
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Be well spoken and able to work with our client base
