Position SummaryWe are looking for a
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team.
In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple concurrent searches, partnering with hiring managers to build pipelines and optimize our growth-stage hiring systems. You will balance hands-on sourcing with a strategic focus on data, process, and candidate experience. Beyond execution, you will own the end-to-end candidate and manager journey, directly shaping our employer brand and leaving your fingerprints on the recruitment process itself.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented recruiter who thrives on building relationships, enjoys solving sourcing puzzles for hard-to-fill roles, and knows how to keep multiple searches moving without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
Note: Practice Better is a remote-first company with team members across North America. However, this particular role is currently open to
Canadian-based candidates only, and preference will be given to applicants legally authorized to work in Canada.
What You'll Be Doing- Own and lead full-cycle hiring across multiple concurrent searches, from intake through offer and close, balancing hands-on execution with pipeline strategy and stakeholder alignment
- Partner closely with hiring managers to shape role scope, define success profiles, and calibrate expectations, ensuring we are targeting the right talent from the outset
- Build and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent, especially for hard-to-fill roles, using a mix of outbound approaches, networks, referrals, and creative tactics
- Manage and continuously improve our use of our ATS (Greenhouse), keeping pipelines, stages, and reporting clean and up to date
- Establish and refine interview frameworks, scorecards, and calibration practices to ensure high-quality, equitable, and consistent hiring outcomes
- Champion an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience, acting as a steward of our values and ensuring thoughtful, bias-aware hiring practices
- Contribute to and help shape our employer brand by staying close to market trends and ensuring our narrative resonates with top talent
- Track, analyze, and communicate recruiting metrics, using data to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion, and drive accountability across the hiring process
What You Bring- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of concurrent searches across multiple functions without sacrificing candidate experience or hiring quality
- Strong outbound sourcing skills, with the ability to build creative pipelines for hard-to-fill or niche roles rather than relying solely on inbound applicants
- Experience building or improving recruiting processes, such as structured interview scorecards, hiring manager training, or calibration sessions
- A track record of DEI-focused or bias-aware sourcing & hiring practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a bias for clarity and action, including with senior leaders
- Comfort with data: pulling, interpreting, and acting on recruiting metrics like time-to-fill, source of hire, and pipeline conversion
- Proficiency with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse or Pinpoint experience preferred)
- Analytical, curious, and adaptable; you seek solutions, not perfection
Bonus Points- Experience recruiting in health tech, wellness, or EHR/SaaS
- Experience helping build or scale a recruiting function at a growth-stage company
- Experience contributing to employer branding or recruitment marketing (LinkedIn, careers site content, etc.)
