Full Job Description
DNI is currently seeking a Senior System Security Engineer (SSE) to support the CPE C3N contract in Aberdeen, MD. The SSE will support, coordinate, and implement the organization's computer information security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Review violations of computer security procedures to eliminate violations.

Responsibilities
  • Review, research, and evaluate cybersecurity system architecture in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53, Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Army policies
  • Perform tactical cyber security vulnerability reviews for computer hardware, systems software, and computer system architecture, and integration to include the evaluation of tactical network integration and satellite communications
  • Validate and assess Information Systems Cybersecurity controls for threat and cybersecurity events related to tactical and acquisition systems that impact the systems cybersecurity posture
  • Perform periodic reviews to determine the security posture of CPE C3N APEO acquisition systems and tactical networks to ensure compliance with all NIST, DoD, and Army policies
  • Provide recommendations in support of cybersecurity for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) implementation of the RMF process for tactical systems and networks


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate scientific, engineering, or computer related discipline
  • 8 years of Cybersecurity experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with cybersecurity policies and implementation
  • Experience with Army C5ISR systems
  • Certified in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework - Required
  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) - Required
  • Prior experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a nice to have.
  • Experience with commercial Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and Google, is a nice to have.
  • Experience with tools such as STIG Viewer, ACAS, Nessus, and Elastic Stack, Software Code Analysis tools ( SonarQube, Fortify, Black Duck, Codacy, etc), Container Scanners (Trivy, Snyk, Grype, Clair, etc) .


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
