Join WSP as a Senior Systems Integrator - Industrial Automation & SCADA, where your hands-on expertise will directly support the delivery of complex municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a senior, self-directed role for a practitioner who thrives across the full automation lifecycle - from design and programming through commissioning, field support, and operational handover.

Your Impact
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of PLC and SCADA systems for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Independently program, test, and commission control systems in live plant environments.
  • Execute on-site and remote troubleshooting, including scheduled and unscheduled service support.
  • Develop control narratives, technical specifications, and system documentation that support safe and reliable operations.
  • Configure and deploy SCADA/HMI platforms, including graphics, communications, and databases.
  • Design and support industrial OT networks, enabling secure data flow between PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining strong independent delivery accountability.


The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Demonstrated hands-on PLC programming experience with Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix); experience with Emerson RX3i, Schneider Modicon (M340/M580), or GE Fanuc is an asset.
  • Expert level experience configuring and supporting iFix, and AVEVA; experience with VTScada and/or Ignition, ClearSCADA, Survalent, or Geo SCADA considered valuable.
  • Proven implementation and troubleshooting experience with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus).
  • Practical experience in system commissioning, startup support, and operator assistance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking, including Ethernet (copper/fibre), segmentation, and firewalls.
  • Ability to produce control system specifications, PCNs, architecture diagrams, and networking documentation.
  • Comfort contributing complementary skills such as shop drawing review, control schematics, or drafting support (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation).


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $46.00 - $61.00
MB & ON: $42.00 - $57.80
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $41.60 - $55.20
