Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a team utilizing expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. This position supports the development of reliable, secure, and high-quality hardware/software systems while contributing to architectural decisions and designing robust interfaces for seamless integration across Missile Defense System (MDS) platforms.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:- Participate in hardware/software engineering activities, including mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
- Ensure hardware/software engineering and assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
- Provide technical guidance by assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
Required Qualifications:- U.S. Citizenship.
- Master's degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of related professional experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes.
- Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes.
- Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
- Strong professional communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- 12 years of related professional experience.
- Missile Defense Agency (MDA) experience.
- Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design.
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering principles.
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities).
