Full Job Description
This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI poly). We are hiring for an experienced Systems Engineer - Release Manager (Senior) to support enterprise-level agile development, systems integration, and release management efforts within a high-visibility Intelligence Community environment. This role will support the integration of Agile and SAFe methodologies across release trains, cross-functional teams, and enterprise stakeholders while driving alignment between mission requirements, technical execution, and strategic objectives. Your Impactful Duties: • Support the Government in leading the integration of Agile development practices leveraging the SAFe framework across teams, release trains, and stakeholders • Coordinate with risk and schedule management teams to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and timelines • Oversee planning, traceability, and alignment of user requirements and system architectures with mission objectives • Provide strategic guidance on solutions architecture, systems engineering processes, and agile best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer and mission needs into system and capability requirements • Lead systems integration efforts, technical assessments, and enterprise-level engineering analysis supporting Epic Development initiatives • Conduct and lead: • Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) • Courses of Action (CoAs) • Trade Studies • Engineering Assessments • Support strategic technical planning and interface design across multiple enterprise teams • Utilize enterprise tools such as Jira and Confluence for release planning, task tracking, documentation, and traceability • Promote continuous process improvement and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency across agile teams • Support integration efforts for Major Systems Acquisitions across organizational, agency, and national boundaries Requirements: • Active TS/SCI clearance • Master's degree with 4+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, Associate degree with 8+ years of experience, or a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree. • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement complex processes within large-scale, cross-functional environments • Experience leading and mentoring junior and mid-level personnel in agile practices and systems engineering methodologies • Extensive experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), particularly enterprise-level system acquisition and development efforts • Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Jira and Confluence for release planning, tracking, and process management • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, terminology, and enterprise scaling practices • Recognized experience supporting systems engineering, release management, or related technical disciplines • Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and process improvements aligned with mission objectives Desired: • Experience supporting enterprise-level agile transformation initiatives • Familiarity with systems integration efforts spanning multiple agencies or organizational boundaries • Experience supporting high-visibility technical programs in fast-paced operational environments
