The Senior Systems Engineer will support the full lifecycle of enterprise infrastructure solutions across mission-critical environments, including design, development, integration, modernization, operations, and sustainment. This position will leverage Python development, containerization technologies, and Docker to automate processes, deploy scalable solutions, and improve system reliability and operational efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver secure, high-quality solutions aligned with mission objectives.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain Python-based automation tools, scripts, and engineering solutions supporting enterprise and mission systems.
- Maintain containerized applications and services using Docker and related container technologies.
- Support the integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of containerized solutions across Linux-based enterprise environments.
- Automate system deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
- Apply systems engineering principles throughout the lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
- Analyze system performance and technical issues and recommend solutions for modernization, scalability, reliability, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues, document solutions, and deliver quality engineering products.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years of systems and/or software engineering experience. Candidates without a bachelor's degree may be considered with an additional four (4) years of relevant experience; a master's degree may count toward experience requirements.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Desired Qualifications- Experience with Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
- Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar DevSecOps and automation tools.
- Experience with REST APIs, Python-based GUI frameworks, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) integration, configuration management, and software/container dependency management.

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
