Qualifications

• ABET accredited BS degree in a technical field.
• 20 years of experience in relevant systems engineering roles.
• 5 years of specific experience with Patriot missile systems.
• Experience with Developmental Operations (DoW) engineering programs, preferably missile development and manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
• Must possess a current DoW Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support all lifecycle phases of systems engineering, from concept to disposal.
• Communicate technical knowledge in the context of DoD systems development and stakeholder needs.
• Provide subject matter expertise on engineering processes and documentation for rapid acquisition programs.
• Evaluate program effectiveness using systems engineering methods.
• Analyze and recommend strategies to reduce costs, schedules, and technical risks.
• Ensure technical documentation meets product requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with Army, OSD, and DoD entities regarding acquisition processes.
• Adapt communication style to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
