The Systems Analysis job participates in the designing of information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Working under general supervision, this job is responsible for analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system and preparing the design of possible systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Defines system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conducts feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Prepares technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- Analyzes and proposes revisions to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Assists in the development of training sessions and demos for end users.
- Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.

Required Skills - Financial Domain experience of 5+ years including knowledge of retirement products, annuities, rollovers and brokerage products.
- Application Architecture & SOA Proven experience as a Portfolio Architect with strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, microservices design, and API governance across large-scale financial ecosystems.
- API & Integration Technologies Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, WSDL, MuleSoft ESB, and Kong API Gateway for building and managing enterprise integrations.
- Cloud & Container Platforms Experience with AWS services including RDS and OpenSearch, and container orchestration using Red Hat OpenShift across multi-environment deployments including disaster recovery environments.
- BPMN & Business Process Management Hands-on experience designing, developing, and managing BPMN-driven workflow applications and BPM platforms.
Preferred Skills- Messaging & Event Streaming Working experience with IBM MQ and Apache Kafka for message-driven and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Agile & Project Management Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC practices, and project management including backlog management using Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Optional Database & Data Management Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases including data modeling and query optimization.
- Optional Security & Identity Management Experience with PingFederate OAuth2 for token-based authentication and CyberArk Conjur DAP for enterprise secrets management.
- Optional Monitoring & Observability Experience with Splunk for application monitoring, log analysis, and production observability.
- Java/J2EE Development 5 or more years of Java and J2EE application design and development experience.
- Optional DevOps & Release Management Experience with GitLab or similar source control tools, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end release planning and orchestration across multiple environments.
- Operating Systems Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Base Pay Range: $136,000/yr - $180,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
