Work Schedule:
Onsite - Buffalo, NY
Moog is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager, Programs to lead a team of Supply Chain Program Manager to ensure programs progress smoothly from bid through contract execution. You'll be accountable for program-level cost metrics, NPI schedule adherence, flawless production program execution, customer flowdowns, and meeting customer turnaround times while ensuring cost, schedule, compliance, and program progress are maintained across the portfolio.

This is an onsite role in East Aurora, New York and reports to the Director, Supply Chain for Moog's Military Aircraft Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop Supply Chain Program Managers; set priorities, review performance, provide feedback, and ensure consistent program execution across the team.
  • Program/Project Management: Utilize best-practice project management tools and processes to manage quality, technical requirements, schedule, and cost for assigned programs. Monitor program health and drive corrective actions.
  • Cost & Metrics Ownership: Own program cost profiles and key metrics; drive cost strategy, maintain Product Cost Books (PCB), and ensure parts and suppliers align with budget and long-term pricing models.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Schedule Adherence: Ensure NPI milestones are met across programs; identify and remove schedule risks and coordinate cross-functional mitigation plans.
  • Customer Flowdowns & Compliance: Translate customer requirements into material strategy and program plans; ensure programs comply with contractual, regulatory (e.g., FAR/DFAR), and Moog policy requirements.
  • Supplier & Change Management: Oversee supplier notifications and customer approval processes; lead supplier transitions and work with contracts/program managers to expedite customer responses.
  • Customer Proposals & Business Support: Lead or support supply chain sections of customer proposals; collaborate with sourcing and buyers to produce compliant, competitive proposals and long-range pricing models.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Programs, Operations, Contracts, Quality, and Sourcing to resolve issues, optimize supply chain performance, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Customer Communications & Audits: Represent Supply Chain in customer meetings, audits, and assessments; prepare and deliver supply-chain-related responses and evidence.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel (~10% of the time) for supplier visits, customer meetings, or internal site support.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive supply chain, operations, or program management experience; prior people leadership and program-level ownership required.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through organizational change, effectively communicate vision and priorities, and drive employee engagement and accountability.
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and implement strategies that achieve organizational and team objectives.
  • Ability to influence others across functions through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and customer problem-solving abilities; must have ability to diagnose and solve complex situations.
  • Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and contractual requirements across multiple programs.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings/specifications and collaborate with suppliers on technical issues.
  • Knowledge of contractual and regulatory frameworks such as FAR/DFAR, EAR/ITAR, REACH, export/import rules, and typical aerospace program flowdowns.


It'd be great if you also had:

  • Excellent analytical and structured critical thinking skills (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D); Six Sigma/Lean experience.
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain.
  • Experience with electronic components and complex, regulated programs.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $120,000.00-$170,000.00 Annually
