Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is recruiting for a Senior Supervisor | Preventative & Reliability Maintenance located in Jacksonville, FL.

Position Summary

TheSr.Supervisor| Preventative& ReliabilityMaintenanceprovidesfrontlineleadership fortechnical teamssupportingpreventativemaintenance,equipment reliability, asset care, and manufacturing uptime within aregulatedmedical device manufacturing environment.This role is accountable for disciplined PM execution, rapid post-maintenance recovery, reliability improvement, and cross-functional alignment to strengthen asset performance, reduce operational risk, and support sustained manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop technical teams responsible for preventive maintenance execution, reliability support, asset care, and equipment recovery.
  • Ensure PM activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to expected quality standards while minimizing impact to production.
  • Drive rapid stabilization following PM execution and critical equipment events through structured escalation, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
  • Improve equipment reliability by supporting root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and recurring downtime reduction efforts.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Calibration, Spare Parts, and Facilities to align priorities and remove execution barriers.
  • Support CMMS governance, including work order quality, maintenance history, asset data accuracy, and disciplined closure practices.
  • Build technical capability through coaching, training, performance feedback, and clear accountability for execution standards.
  • Monitor and communicate key performance indicators, including PM compliance, equipment uptime, downtime losses, schedule adherence, and reliability trends.
  • The role requires the ability to set clear expectations, reinforce accountability, build technical capability, and collaborate effectively across functions to deliver reliable, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Discipline, or related field preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required

  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, reliability, or technical operations within a regulated or high-volume production environment.
  • Direct people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading preventive maintenance execution, reliability improvement, troubleshooting, or asset care initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS processes, maintenance documentation, work order management, and asset history practices.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in medical device, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Maximo or comparable enterprise CMMS platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead reliability improvement efforts using data, KPIs, and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting shift-based technical teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
