Full Job Description
The Senior Supervisor would manage following teams: Receiving, Research, Encapsulation, Quality Control, or Shipping. You would be responsible for assisting in overseeing the department, making sure the team works with efficiency, and to ensure quality and departmental standards are met.

You’ll report to the Operations Manager and work from our Mississauga,Canada Office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage, train, and motivate a new Operations team, overseeing the entire Receiving, Research, Encapsulation, Quality Control or Shipping/Logistics function.

  • Own daily production metrics for the department.

  • Evaluate team member output in each of their assigned duties to ensure it meets the company standards.

  • Identify and develop new operational metrics as needs arise.

  • Effectively problem solve issues that arise within the department, and implement solutions & improvements to keep error percentage to a minimum.

  • Assist in the continued development of skill sets for members of the team.

  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts, escalating when necessary.

  • Develop staff skills and create a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.

  • Act as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for team members

  • Establish effective communication channels that ensure the flow of information into and out of the department.

  • Assist in the development of strategic and tactical plans to ensure achievement of company and departmental goals.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and serve as the first point of contact for incidents, injuries, and/or safety concerns.

  • Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance and security

  • Safely handle and account for valuable merchandise, ensuring its security and proper handling throughout all process stages.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience supervising an operations team, preferably within Receiving, Shipping, Logistics, Quality Control, or Manufacturing environments

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to understand and relay company policies and procedures.

  • Good interpersonal skills, including but not limited to conflict resolution and negotiation.

  • Experience developing processes, writing procedures, and training hourly associates.

  • Ability to plan, multi-task, manage time, and delegate effectively.

  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Google Sheets.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $93,000-$105,000 CAD. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
