What You Will DoUnder general supervision, supervise, coordinate and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate Supervisors.
- Ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules
- Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning
- Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations
- Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained
- Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales
- Directly supervise first-line or shift Supervisors
- Perform other duties as required
What You Bring To FreeportMinimum Qualifications- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience
- Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required
- Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
- Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projects
- Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
PreferredWhat We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently
$105,000 - $145,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
