Senior Superintendent - Aviation Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Client is seeking an experienced
Senior Superintendent - Aviation to lead large-scale aviation construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for project execution, field operations, safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing
$50M+ aviation construction projects, leading multiple field teams, and driving operational excellence in complex commercial construction environments.
Must-Have Qualifications (Mandatory) - 10+ years of construction experience
- 8+ years of field supervision experience
- Experience leading Aviation Construction Projects valued at $50M+
- Experience managing multiple Superintendents and large field teams
- Strong background in commercial construction
- Experience with project scheduling and construction sequencing
- Strong safety leadership experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendors
- Ability to oversee quality control and project closeout
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to work onsite in Atlanta, GA
- Ability to travel if required
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Lean Construction experience
- Large commercial airport construction experience
- Experience with aviation terminal, concourse, runway, or airside projects
- Knowledge of crane operations and rigging
- Experience in self-perform construction
Key Responsibilities - Lead all field operations for complex aviation construction projects
- Manage project schedules and construction sequencing
- Ensure projects meet budget, quality, and schedule goals
- Lead project safety initiatives
- Supervise Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Conduct daily coordination meetings and weekly trade meetings
- Manage owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, equipment, and materials
- Review and approve daily reports and project documentation
- Manage QA/QC processes
- Monitor labor productivity and project performance
- Support project buyout and change management
- Manage project risks
- Develop client relationships and identify future business opportunities
- Mentor field staff and support company training initiatives
