Job Title - Senior Structural Engineer Location - Denver, CO (Centennial) Job Type - Hybrid Requisition ID - 11149 Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Structural Engineer for our Denver, CO (Centennial) office. What You Will Be Doing: • Design buildings and heavy industrial structures in accordance with design codes and standards published by ICC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC. • Concrete and structural steel design, including vibration analysis. • Use RISA, STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, LPILE and other structural software. • Determine client requirements and develop reports, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents. • Assist in the preparation of engineering estimates and design schedules for projects. • Evaluate the need for design changes and communicate appropriate recommendations to project manager or clients. • Serve as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas. • Consult with construction personnel on design constructability as related to field conditions. • Visit construction sites to monitor progress, make structural observations. • Lead multiple, concurrent projects. • Develop less experienced members through project task delegation. • Conduct QA/QC reviews on structural calculations, specifications, and drawings. Typical Activities: • Determining project design requirements and developing calculations, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents. • Reviewing vendor documents, geotechnical reports, and supporting construction efforts. • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and design schedules for projects. • Evaluating the need for design changes and communicating appropriate recommendations to project manager or clients. • Serving as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinating technical efforts within discipline areas. • Coordinate the structural work required to complete projects with designers, graphics, other disciplines, and project managers while maintaining schedules set and budgets established. • Consulting with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions. • Compensated overtime (as needed) to hit project submittals and team workload. Required Qualifications: • Experience in the design of heavy industrial structures and equipment foundations associated with power generation facilities, in compliance with design codes and standards published by IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC. • Proficient in concrete and structural steel design. • Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members. • Software: RISA or STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile or MFAD (optional), AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu • PE License or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. $122,300 - $160,850 a year (Salary range for CO location) Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation.
