The Role:Forensic Engineers lead investigations into damage and performance issues across buildings, structures, and building envelopes. They manage projects from start to finish-coordinating with clients, conducting site visits, analyzing findings, reviewing building codes, and delivering clear, professional reports on time.
The ideal candidate has an established client network and has a strong track record of building rapport and maintaining lasting client relationships.
In This Role, You Will:- Investigate damage to residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and concerns.
- Conduct thorough site visits to collect field data.
- Analyze collected data, environmental factors, and material properties to determine the cause and extent of distress.
- Write comprehensive technical reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Assist in developing repair designs and ensuring coordination across disciplines, as needed.
- Manage project resources and deadlines effectively.
- Stay up to date on relevant building codes and regulations.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- PE license required.
- 5+ years of forensic engineering experience required.
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay range for this role is:$80,000 - 275,000 USD per year + bonus*
*This wide salary range reflects the flexibility of the role and accommodates candidates across a broad range of experience levels; base salary and bonus will be commensurate with experience.
