This diverse range of structural engineering services helps improve mobility for the traveling public.

In this position, primarily, you would serve in a lead technical role in the planning, analysis, design, and detailing of bridge and other transportation related structural projects - from highway to pedestrian to rail - as well as mentor our structural team. You would also serve as a Project Manager and be expected to assist with project pursuits. The ideal candidate should possess a "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently as well as with a team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment.

Responsibilities- Perform structural modeling, design, and oversight for bridge and other transportation infrastructure projects
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, estimates and calculation packages
- Provide technical support/mentorship to structural engineering staff
- Perform quality assurance reviews of project construction documents, engineering reports, etc.
- Assist in preparation of qualification packages, proposals and/or contracts involving technical approach, costs, and scheduling
- Provide project management
- Review fabrication drawings and provide construction plan reviews

- Must possess strong technical skills in bridge/structural design and critical thinking
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective and comfortable in a highly collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal presentations and technical writing is essential

Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum 8-11 years of structural bridge/transportation design experience required.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required; master's degree preferred
- PE license required or ability to attain within 6 months.
- Experience completing engineering studies, design reports, compiling contract documents and developing contract plans, in conformity with accepted engineering standards and procedures including AASHTO, GDOT, local municipalities/counties, and other state DOTs
- Strong familiarity with any of the following structural engineering software
(i.e. Mathcad, FB-MultiPier, ATLAS, STAAD Pro, LARSA 4D, AASHTOWare, MDX, SP Column, MerlinDASH, GDOT Structures Design Programs, etc.) - Model-based design experience is a strong plus:
