As a
Senior Structural Engineer you will be asked to lead production work for projects, taking ownership for full pieces of scope and working with the engineering team to coordinate, design, and document our work through all phases of design. Projects will vary in scope, typology, and materiality - our team will seek to align projects to candidates interests and capabilities.

The Opportunity - Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings in accordance with building code and design standards.
- Perform lateral analyses of structure for seismic and wind loading.
- Prepare and review drawings detailing the systems designed.
- Collaborate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams to produce coordinated and holistic design solutions
- Review submittals prepared by contractors and respond to requests for information, perform construction site visits to observe the progress of construction, and lead projects through the Construction Administration process
- Communicate structural engineering designs to our clients and other stakeholders in meetings, sketches, and design documents.

Is this role right for you?
- Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals as they relate to building systems.
- 7+ years related experience in structural design and engineering.
- Interest and experience in structural repairs and renovations a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of general analysis and design software
- Ability to utilize Revit and coordinate with BIM production staff
- Collaboration demands strong communication skills and excellent planning and organizational abilities, which are vital for our fast-paced setting.
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to tackle new challenges.
- PE license required

New York Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $122,500 to $135,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
