The
Senior Strategist proactively looks beyond the brief to find unique ways to strategically and creatively support clients. They are capable of leading projects from start to finish with minimal oversight and maximum effectiveness. They help elevate the creative product at every step by providing clear, compelling, strategic guidance and reframing problems in ways that unlock new and unexpected creative solutions.
Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $70,000-100,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.
Key Responsibilities: - Creative Contribution: Elevate the Cossette creative product by providing clear, compelling strategic guidance. Reframe challenges that in ways that unlock new and unexpected creative solutions. Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure the consistent delivery of excellence in all agency output for the clients you're assigned to. Actively seek to build upon existing creative in reviews, while ensuring strategic soundness of the work throughout the project.
- Strategic Planning: Synthesize complex information into a winning strategy that tells a compelling story. Ability to devise a strategic leap: taking the stated need, or "job to be done" and transforming it into a powerful strategy that is a direct catalyst for brilliant creative thinking. Actively seek to build upon existing creative in reviews, while ensuring strategic soundness of the work throughout the project.
- Research & Analysis: Design and manage an original method for primary research. Constantly consider ways of sharing consumer, cultural and industry insights that are directly relevant to your client accounts. Lead planning and facilitation of workshops. And look past the obvious to uncover the real challenge the creative needs to solve, articulating it with clarity, action and impact.
- Innovation: Lead the charge in integrating AI into the agency's strategic process, exploring new tools and methodologies that streamline workflows and uncover deeper, more predictive insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Have a solid understanding of agency and creative processes and know how strategy fits into it. Work to support the things you know are important to your colleagues' fulfillment of their roles in the agency.
- Client Collaboration: Proactively communicate with clients, prospects and candidates to generate a winning outcome in all efforts. Unearthing valuable new opportunities for your clients and the agency.
Skills & Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in strategic roles within an agency or related environment, with proven and recognized strategic expertise.
- Some experience in integrating AI and other emerging technologies to improve the agency's strategic output.
- Experience in helping build insights, brand strategy, comms planning, and experience design capabilities in a fast paced agency environment.
- Deep understanding of, and ability to help guide, the creative development process in an agency environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to maintain strong relationships with colleagues across strategy, business leadership and creative communities.
- Driven by curiosity and actively engaged in sharing new trends and news that are relevant to client opportunities.
