About the RoleAs a Senior Strategic Partner Manager, you will manage a more complex and higher-value portfolio of merchants, often including larger or more strategic accounts. You are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, bringing a consultative, strategic lens to each partnership. In addition to core account management responsibilities, you will proactively identify growth levers, influence merchant decision-making, and drive adoption of advanced DoorDash products and solutions.
Senior SPMs are also expected to demonstrate leadership within the team-mentoring junior SPMs, sharing best practices, and contributing to broader team initiatives. You'll take ownership of more sophisticated business challenges, navigate ambiguity, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes. This role typically requires deeper experience in account management, sales, or partnerships, along with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and retention.

- Leverage data and AI tools to diagnose operational inefficiencies, test improvements, and optimize merchant performance on an ongoing basis
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Sales to advocate for merchant needs and deliver a best-in-class platform experience
- Influence and navigate senior and C-suite stakeholders through compelling, data-driven storytelling and strong objection handling

- You have knowledge of Google Suite, including Google Slides (creating client-facing decks) and Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- You navigate sales and AI tools with ease (Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Google Apps)
- You manage a book of business, with experience with higher complexity small- to medium-sized business (SMB) clients, or Enterprise clients
- Spanish speaking is a plus!
CompensationActual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
