Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil, environmental, or coastal engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Florida or ability to obtain via reciprocity
• Over 10 years of experience in drainage design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with drainage software like ORD Drainage, Stormwise, ASAD, and HEC-RAS is advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business development leader, project manager, and lead stormwater engineer.
• Develop and manage drainage and stormwater solutions for historical flooding, municipal projects, and transportation-related initiatives.
• Design water quality and stormwater management solutions, including floodplain analysis, stormwater conveyance, and watershed modeling.
• Collaborate with leadership on project delivery methods and opportunities.
• Assist in creating Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and participate in client interviews for local projects.
• Prepare drainage design documentation reports and technical memorandums with strong writing skills.
• Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior engineering staff and interns.
