Full Job Description
We9re currently looking for a Senior Stormwater Engineer to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh office. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, developing practical stormwater solutions, and collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and real-world problem-solving, you9ll fit right in.

What You9ll Do
  • Lead the design, development, and review of stormwater management systems for municipal, commercial, and land development projects.
  • Prepare and oversee site grading, drainage, and stormwater management designs that balance regulatory compliance with practical constructability.
  • Manage stormwater permitting efforts and coordinate with local, state, and regulatory agencies throughout the approval process.
  • Develop hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater infrastructure design and watershed management solutions.
  • Prepare construction drawings, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation for stormwater and site development projects.
  • Conduct field investigations and site evaluations to assess existing drainage conditions and support project design development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance throughout project development and execution.
  • Apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex stormwater and drainage challenges while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.


Who You Are
  • You hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have 10+ years of experience in stormwater engineering, site grading, and drainage design.
  • You have strong experience with stormwater management design and permitting processes.
  • You hold a Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • You have experience preparing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and developing stormwater management solutions for a variety of project types.
  • You understand the technical and regulatory aspects of stormwater permitting, MS4 programs, and land development requirements.
