We are seeking an experienced Senior STEP Developer to support and enhance the Stibo STEP Master Data Management (MDM)/Product Information Management (PIM) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting complex STEP configurations, workflows, integrations, and business rules while ensuring platform stability and operational excellence.
This role combines both application development and production support responsibilities, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, support teams, and vendors.
Your Role
- Provide production support for the Stibo STEP platform, including incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Perform break/fix activities, defect remediation, and minor enhancements while meeting established SLAs.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure platform stability and availability.
- Coordinate with business users, offshore teams, and third-party vendors to resolve production issues.
- Participate in release deployments, change management activities, post-production validation, and on-call support rotations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles, operational runbooks, and support documentation to improve service delivery.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced STEP workflows, UI configurations, and process automations.
- Develop, optimize, test, and troubleshoot JavaScript Business Rules within the STEP platform.
- Lead platform enhancements, continuous improvement initiatives, and major system upgrades.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and structured data formats such as XML and JSON.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions.
- Document platform configurations, integrations, data flows, and technical designs.
- Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices across the team.
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in MDM/PIM solution development.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Stibo STEP platform, including:
- Workflow development
- Web UI configuration
- JavaScript Business Rules
- Data modeling and configuration
- Strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript
- XML
- JSON
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Solid understanding of:
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Data governance principles
- System design and data modeling
- Experience supporting STEP applications in production environments, including enhancements, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full lifecycle implementation experience with the Stibo STEP platform.
- Experience supporting enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and data migration tools.
- Experience with cloud-based integration and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Prior consulting experience or technical leadership responsibilities.
- Experience mentoring development teams and leading technical initiatives.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $76,000 to 187,000.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
