Sr. Staff SRE EngineerRequirements for the job
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Define reliability models using SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure system stability and performance.
- Build and maintain automation pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules for scalable, multi-account AWS environments.
- Establish observability standards and create dashboards leveraging Elastic Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Integrate AIOps and anomaly detection for proactive monitoring and issue prevention.
- Lead high-severity incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem reviews, driving continuous reliability improvements.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to embed SRE principles and automation into all delivery processes.
- Mentor engineers and maintain architecture documentation, operational standards, and templates for SLOs, postmortems, and change management.
Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in DevOps/SRE roles, with expertise in distributed systems and cloud operations (AWS preferred).
- Telecom domain experience is a plus.
Technical Skills - Deep knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Kafka, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda, WAF, KMS).
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Python, and Bash.
- Expertise in observability tools (Grafana, Elastic Stack, Prometheus).
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices reliability.
Certifications (Preferred) - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect - Associate.
- Terraform Associate or Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA).
- SRE Foundation or Google SRE certification.
