Full Job Description
Design and architecture for Central Engineering hardware, Platform development for on-board subsystems to support chip test infrastructure. You will participate in FPGA/Firmware/Software development, lab testing and chip level bring up activities.
Central Engineering is the center hub providing advanced silicon IP to be used by all the other fast growing business units including Data Center, Enterprise, Optics, Custom Computing, Storage and Networking. You’ll be part of the Hardware engineering team designing platforms for many different projects at Marvell. Marvell is developing state of the art complex chips and systems for Data Center applications and you will be exposed to leading edge technologies and have the opportunity be part of this high growth and innovative environment.

What You Can Expect

  • Create, document, and execute sub-system and top level test plans to verify design functionality. 

  • Build simulation environments (UVM/SystemVerilog/Python) to verify RTL/firmware designs and develop automated scripts for testing. 

  • Analyze test results and identify root causes of hardware/software failures

  • Work with hardware and software teams to review functionality and ensure testability. 

  • Generate reports on test coverage and bug tracking. 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor CE/EE degree (MS preferred) in Computer Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in data communication systems development or similar field.

  • A mixture of HW /FW /SW experience with background in programming skills using Verilog, C/C++ and Python.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog), simulation tools, and scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl).

    Knowledge of constrained-random verification, assertion-based verification, and functional coverage methodologies.

  • Detailed, working knowledge of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and solid lab techniques.

  • Ability to communicate well and work closely and cross-functionally with engineering groups in resolving issues

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

127,630 - 191,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
