Blue & Co., LLC (www.blueandco.com) is currently seeking a Staff Consultant to join our Revenue Cycle team. This is a unique position that involves working in a fast-paced professional services environment assisting our hospital clients with improvements impacting the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. This position requires an individual with a consultative mindset as a trusted advisor and service provider, including a strong relationship orientation, creative problem-solving skills, with an objective yet persuasive approach.
The successful candidate will assist hospitals with revenue cycle management (front-end and back-end operations), including patient access, billing, follow-up, denial management and resolution. This role requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills, along with the ability to lead a variety of client engagements, including process assessments and implementation services.
Position Requirements:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations.
- Experience with hospital systems, such as EPIC, MEDITECH, Cerner, CPSI, Soarian, McKesson, or SMS is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities of multiple projects.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Travel of up to 5-10% overnight required, mostly to regional clients, prospects, or events.
