This hands-on role is responsible for executing system administration, managing technical debt, and acting as the tier escalation point for cases and troubleshooting. In this position, you will utilize advanced declarative tools, especially Flow automation and data modeling-to solve complex platform issues and ensure Salesforce runs efficiently, reliably, and at its best.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery & Business Partnering: Own the project lifecycle from inception to deployment. Run discovery sessions with cross-functional business units, map business processes, and translate requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Case Management & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical escalation point for daily operations. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve high-frequency or complex system issues, user requests, and platform bugs.
  • Technical Debt Mitigation: Proactively audit the Salesforce org to identify redundant configurations, obsolete fields, and outdated validation rules. Formulate remediation strategies to maintain system performance and a clean data model.
  • Advanced Declarative Configuration: Build robust, scalable solutions using advanced Flow Builder (including complex record-triggered, scheduled, and screen flows), custom metadata types, advanced sharing rules, and complex security architectures.
  • Architect & Developer Alignment: Partner with the Admin Architect and Developers to evaluate technical alternatives. Ensure declarative capabilities are fully exhausted before handing off custom programmatic work (Apex/LWC) to the developer team.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain and create comprehensive functional documentation, including business process maps, automated flow diagrams, training materials, and detailed user stories.
