Senior Specialist, Production Planning

Job Description:

Entegris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Production Planner to join our Materials Management team at our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in aligning production plans with customer demand, ensuring on-time delivery, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain.

This position has the opportunity to be hybrid (3 days in office, 2 at home) and to also work out of our office in Round Rock, TX one day a week, if preferred.

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. This role collaborates closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to align production plans with customer demand and inventory targets.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
  • Monitor production performance and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, and shifting priorities
  • Analyze production and planning data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, and customer service to ensure alignment on production and delivery goals
  • Maintain accurate planning data, schedules, and key performance metrics within ERP systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, risks, and priorities


What We Seek:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory management best practices


Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience with SAP (PP/MM modules strongly preferred)
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
