Full Job Description
Job Purpose

Ensure the effective and compliant delivery of US HR processes, providing hands-on HR advisory and operations support across the employee lifecycle. Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee experience and optimize HR systems and workflows. Support the continued development of MoonLake's US organization.

Major Accountabilities
  • HR Advisory/Employee Relations: Act as a key HR point of contact for US employees and managers, providing HR guidance and supporting managers across the employee lifecycle.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Support HR lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding, internal movements and performance management cycles, ensuring accurate employee records and documentation. Contribute to the creation, rollout and refinement of HR policies, ensuring effective and compliant HR practices, policies and procedures in line with applicable US requirements and MoonLake's global HR framework.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Payroll: Support HR activities related to compensation, benefits and payroll, coordinating employee information and queries with internal stakeholders and external providers.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Support talent acquisition and onboarding activities, including high-volume hiring for field-based roles, in partnership with recruitment Team and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with applicable US employment requirements and internal processes.
  • HR Systems & Projects: Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS. Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance HR processes, tools and workflows. Support initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement, including events and culture projects.

Job Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

Experience:
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally combining HR Business Partnering and HR Operations
  • Experience supporting employees and managers in the US
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth and/or international organization is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in life sciences, biotech or pharma is a plus

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:
  • Strong understanding of US HR and employment practices, employee relations and end to end employee lifecycle processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, collaborative and relationship focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with US payroll, benefits and compensation practices
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and MS Office
  • Discretion with sensitive information and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
