Opportunity OverviewThe Senior Firm Planning Specialist plays a critical role in shaping and executing the firm's strategic planning agenda by leading enterprise-wide planning efforts, evaluating strategic initiatives, and providing data-driven insights to support executive decision-making. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering across business segments and corporate functions to align priorities, assess opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes. The Senior Firm Planning Specialist is responsible for managing the firm's multi-year strategic planning process, designing and evaluating complex cross-functional initiatives, and influencing business decisions through analysis, forecasting, and strategic recommendations. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex organizational priorities while driving alignment across stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Lead the firm's multi-year strategic planning process and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct strategic analyses, forecasting, scenario planning, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Partner with executive leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and advance strategic initiatives.
- Design business requirements and planning frameworks for complex cross-functional projects.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to influence business strategy and investment decisions.
- Guide initiatives through governance processes while managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive process improvements that increase planning effectiveness, operational efficiency, and execution success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders across the organization
Position RequirementsExperience Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience in strategic planning, transformation, consulting, finance, portfolio management, or related fields.
- Proven ability to develop enterprise strategy, influence senior leaders, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong analytical, systems-thinking, communication, and change leadership capabilities.
- Experience facilitating executive-level planning, governance, and decision-making processes.
- Ability to navigate complex business challenges, resolve conflict, and deliver results through collaboration.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Series 7, or similar certifications.
- Experience leading enterprise strategy, governance, or transformation initiatives.
