Job Summary

The Sr. Specialist provides expertise in digital content strategy and its functionality within the overall digital experience for Thrivent Asset Management (TAM) websites.

This role leads the planning, design, production, and delivery of digital content for web and mobile experiences, including building new web pages, testing data and digital experiences, and providing direction and guidance on how digital products and artifacts are designed and executed.

The Sr. Specialist provides deep expertise and leadership for new product launches, new web pages and digital experiences, and marketing content including campaign pages, videos, podcasts, emails, and marketing journeys.

The Sr. Specialist also provides leadership in digital asset management (DAM), content governance, metadata, taxonomy, and content operations. This role requires deep knowledge of content management systems, specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and a strong understanding of UX/UI design, web development, digital product ownership, and project management.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manages digital content, experiences, and cross-functional team priorities to continuously deliver value to identified audiences through compelling and empowering digital experiences and content.
  • Develops and scales strategic plans for websites, specifically the financial professional and institutional websites, while supporting the individual investor website.
  • Collaborates with leaders and business partners to deliver effective experiences and content that support business goals and audience needs.
  • Leads new product launches, including gathering requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams, building pages, reviewing designs, managing schedules, and ensuring successful and timely launches.
  • Consults and provides direction on web design, wireframes, prototypes, and digital experiences through review of designs in Figma and implementation within AEM.
  • Ensures brand standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance reviews are completed prior to publication.
  • Manages content publication processes, including authoring, testing, quality assurance, compliance filing, and production readiness.
  • Serves as the primary subject matter expert for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), providing expertise in metadata, taxonomy, tagging, content fragments, experience fragments, digital asset management (DAM), and content governance.
  • Partners with content, design, development, analytics, technology, legal, and compliance teams to optimize digital experiences and content operations.
  • Supports website performance measurement through analytics, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimization efforts.

Job Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing website content, digital experiences, content strategy, UX/UI, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or comparable content management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and implementing marketing programs, digital experiences, and website initiatives.
  • Strong visual design skills, including UX/UI principles and brand standards, with the ability to communicate clearly through visual specifications and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, AI optimization (AIO), web analytics, and digital experience best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with leaders, developers, designers, product owners, Scrum teams, project managers, technology partners, marketing, sales, product, creative, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies and tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Proven ability to measure, track, and report success against business goals and key performance indicators.


Preferred:
  • Experience with metadata, taxonomy, digital asset management (DAM), content governance, and content operations preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in an Asset Management Organization.


Additional Information
  • This position requires you to work on-site in Minneapolis, MN a minimum of three days a week (currently Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $94,175.00 - $127,413.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
