Full Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Specialist of Credit Risk to join one of Alberta's leading power companies for a full time permanent opportunity located in Calgary, AB with a hybrid 3 days in office per week work model. This individual will play a key role in evaluating the legitimacy and risk of third-party clients, assessing internal controls, and determining exposure across commercial and commodity transactions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in credit risk and commercial banking, with high proficiency in Allegro and a solid understanding of energy finance. Key Responsibilities
Analyze credit risk for commercial banking clients and commodity portfolios.
Evaluate internal controls and financial exposure for new counterparties.
Collaborate with energy markets and financial teams to assess client legitimacy.
Use ETRM systems (Allegro, RightAngle) to identify and monitor risk.
Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
Participate in supply chain agreement reviews and risk assessments.
