THE ROLE

Our manufacturing site in Chaska, MN is seeking a new Senior Specialist, Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. In this role, the new hire will

drive meaningfulchangeby leading continuous Improvement initiativesfor thesite and reportdirectlyto theContinuous Improvement Manager.This rolewill be pivotal in guidingthesitethrough complex transformation initiatives by delivering advanced process improvements, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling sustainable business results. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Lead process assessmentsand process mapping, usingmethodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma,andKaizen.Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes, and develop actionable recommendations that drive measurable improvements inefficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

  • Project Leadership: Manage multiple operational excellence projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources. Develop project charters, define deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure execution aligns with strategic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships withsiteleadersand front-line employees to understand business needs, secure buy-in, and drive change adoption.

  • Change Management: Partner with Site leadership to design and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to facilitate seamless transitions and maximize adoption.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform recommendations and measure project impact. Present findings and insights to diverse audiences through compelling presentations and reports.

  • Coaching & Capability Building: Mentor and train manufacturing teams in operational excellence tools, methodologies, and mindsets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-sufficiency.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring sustained results and identifying further improvementopportunities.

  • Less than 10%of travelis required

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Bachelors degreein engineeringor otherrelatedSciencesdegrees, Operations, Supply Chain

  • 3 to 7+ Years Established Continuous Improvement Experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated background in Lean Manufacturing (Must) and Six Sigma analytical methodologies (Preferred)

  • Strong data analysis and SPC expertise

  • Strong problem analysis/solving skills as well as verbal and written communication skillsishighly desired

  • Strong proficiency in Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and root cause analysis

  • Recognized Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) Certification Preferred

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, AutoCAD, and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, MS Office/Excel)

  • The ideal candidate will have exposure to injection molding, mechanical assembly, or machining processes
