Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Coverage to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Your client-facing title will be Associate Wealth Advisor and it will be understood you are the primary support for the lead Wealth Advisor.
  • You will manage a portfolio of existing client relationships, focusing on both client service and revenue growth through deepening and expanding relationships.
  • You will develop an understanding of existing client needs and coordinate the delivery of tailored solutions aligned with the firm's value proposition across verticals in planning, banking, fiduciary and more.
  • You will partner with Portfolio Managers/Associate Portfolio Managers to ensure the broader financial plan remains aligned with the investment strategy.
  • You will prepare for, coordinate and participate in client meetings and touch points and ensure the recording of same in our CRM system.
  • You will generate and maintain net worth statements, cash flow analyses, and client family trees.
  • You will lead the administrative and compliance aspects of relationships and coordinate with client service specialists to open, fund, and maintain accounts, apply appropriate fee schedules, gather and affirm KYC information, and move money and assets, as necessary.
  • You will prepare for and participate in prospect and Centers of Influence (COI) meetings led by the lead Wealth Advisor.
  • You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of information logged in CRM as it pertains to client interests and client contact information to ensure they are considered for all appropriate events and entertainment opportunities.
  • Additionally, as our Berkeley Heights location is a smaller regional office, the successful candidate will perform certain office manager duties, as well, including vendor management, guest access, supply ordering, conference room reservations, catering, team calendar management and more, as needed.


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services with direct exposure to clients.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales Support, Banking, or Product Management is preferred.
  • Prior completion of the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and industry drivers in the region.
  • Bi-lingual capabilities and cultural awareness are a plus to build client trust in a global environment.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
