Full Job Description
The Senior Solutions Consultant position is responsible for working with ProPharma clients to develop an in depth understanding of their needs, through strategic solutions consulting, developing workflows in conjunction with our partners scientists and IT staff, and executing on the ability to implement, deploy, and managed technology solutions that support the customer programs and portfolio

Essential Functions:

  • Review and document scientific business / laboratory processes and systems
  • Develop recommendations and future state workflows and data models, documentation, and reports, in conjunction with the scientific owner(s) as well as provide gap analysis where needed.
  • Implement newly developed workflows and data models in core platforms through the application configuration interfaces.
  • Produce and deliver required workflow documents and reports to customers as described in project SOW's.
  • Work with customer stakeholders to determine prioritization of project deliverables.
  • Co-develop objectives for new projects with solutions delivery management and identify areas for new workflows for follow on projects.
  • Provide technical consultative advice and product specific guidance to customers.
  • Lead client workshops, perform data modeling and application configuration, develop test plans and guide UAT execution, train, and onboard users, and support system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage complicated scientific concepts, using previous experience to help solve problems.
  • Drive client contact and satisfaction; acting as the main point of contact for the client and ensuring that an exceptional level of service is delivered to maintain a consistently high standard of delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively connect and build trust with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Business Development.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize in quickly changing environments within resource constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of in vivo applications and technical experience with the SDK and API's for development or integration is a benefit but not required.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge of life science applications and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work within a team and across business units in an open and professional manner.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and offer solutions.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.


Educational Requirements:

  • Higher education (Bachelors or master's degree) in Life Sciences field.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years' work experience in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience with platforms such as Benchling, Dotmatics, IDBS, Sapio, or Labware in a position where configuration, deployment, and modifications of these platforms were a primary element of the role.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a position where configuration, deployment, modifications, and management a key informatics system is the primary responsibilities is a requirement. Must be able to independently support the system and various modules, such as ELN, sample management (Registry) application, inventory management (Inventory) application, Workflows application, Molecular design tool application, Reporting application, and automation applications in this regard.
  • Experience and effective utilization of office productivity tools such as Microsoft suite or Google office.
  • Experience and effective utilization of workflow and drawing tools such as Lucidchart, and / or SmartSheet


Whilst ProPharma supports remote working, we also recognise the value that comes from in person collaboration. As such, we encourage any new hires that are based within a reasonably short commute of one of our offices to work on a hybrid basis and spend some time working from that office location, as agreed with your manager.
