Position Title: Senior Software Verification Engineer

What You'll Be DoingAs a key contributor to our SW Design Verification & Characterization Team, you'll play an essential role in bringing revolutionary optical products to life. Specifically, you'll:
- Engineer with impact: Design and implement advanced FW, SW, and optical test and verification strategies to transition breakthrough products from the design phase to full-scale production, document and review test plans with peers and stake holders, automate and manually execute test cases, record and report test case execution progress and results, provide guidance to and share technical expertise with more junior members of the verification team.
- Innovate with AI: Collaborate on integrating AI tools into test and characterization workflows to unlock new levels of efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate for success: Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to align product requirements.
- Deliver excellence: Create scalable, well-documented test solutions and validate products using Agile methodologies.

What We're Looking ForEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of embedded product verification experience.
- Experience in anyone (or more) of the following: Python, C#.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies.
- Experience in designing and executing test plans/cases to validate software quality across functional, performance, and regression.
- Expertise in test automation, including interaction with devices under test and test equipment.
- Knowledge in Linux system, bash scripting, server deployment, and configuring, logging and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skills:- Experience in the design and/or testing of optical components and subsystems for optical communications.
- Experience working with LAG/LACP, LLDP, sZTP, BootZ, L3 ECMP.
- Experience working other networking protocols - IP, UDP/TCP, DHCP, Layer 2 Ethernet/MAC, gRPC.
- Knowledge of management interfaces such as OpenConfig, SNMP, gNMI.

Salary Range: $110,625 - $149,675 CAD (flexible).
