Candidates must be commuting distance to New Freedom, PA, or able to relocate.

You will play a critical role in the development and testing of our exciting embedded software systems that are tightly integrated with physical HVAC and industrial hardware! You will have the opportunity to lead testing efforts, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality in real-world operating environments. If you have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of embedded systems, proven experience in automated testing, and hands-on experience validating software on physical products, and a passion for excellence, then keep reading!

How you will do it:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software running on industrial and electromechanical systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage across both software-only and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand requirements and ensure testability from early design through production release.
  • Conduct reviews of design and requirements to identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
  • Execute hands-on testing in lab and manufacturing-like environments, including setup, configuration, and validation of test equipment and test benches.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting product performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for identified issues that may span software, firmware, and hardware interactions.
